Cookies

Our public website and Internet Banking services, along with most other major websites, use cookies. Privacy notice for Algeria Corporate customers

Compliance with laws and regulatory compliance obligations

We’ll use your information to meet our compliance obligations, to comply with other laws and regulations including the Law 18-07 of 18 June 2018 and Regulations issued under the same from time to time by l’Autorité Nationale de Protection des Données à caractère Personnel (Algérie) (“the ANPDP”) and your personal rights under the Laws and Codes of Algeria. And to share with regulators and other authorities that HSBC Group companies are subject to. This may include using it to help detect or prevent crime (including terrorism financing, money laundering and other financial crimes). We’ll only do this on the basis that it’s needed to comply with a legal obligation or where we have obtained your consent.

Transferring your information overseas

Your information may be transferred to and stored in locations outside Algeria. When we do this, we conduct an assessment of the level of protection provided by the third party processor, in accordance with applicable data protection law. We may need to transfer your information in this way to fulfil the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice.

Your rights

We will stop processing your data for that purpose, but your withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing that we have carried out based on your previous consent.
